i got a very useful reply to my router question which has led me to go and by a new power adapter for the beast... quite expensive so the guy in the shop agreed that if it didn't fix the router i could bring it back...
and i'm blogging right now via the router... something i haven't done for a week of more...
just about to go out and catch this amazing sunshine through the trees then i'll come back and set this network up again... finally check my emails...
why D-link couldn't tell me that it could be the power supply that was faulty i don't know... very crucial piece of information... the little fella is now sat on the desk in front of me blinking away happily...
