just how many ways can lloydstsb prove themselves to be inept in this small operation?
the delivering to me of my new credit card... which i decided to get in order to survive until i get paid on the 18th of this month... which was supposed to arrive within 7 - 10 working days of ordering... i ordered it exactly four weeks before pay day... thinking it should get to me two weeks before...
and trusting that they would be true to their word i didn't ring them until 10 working days had passed, (in fact it was 13 working days by the time i phoned, last friday)... whereupon they said that they'd given it to the courier company on the 29th of september... implying a kind of well we've done our bit smugness, it's the courier company that's at fault...
along with the smugness the woman i spoke to assured me that she'd spoken to the courier company and it would arrive by tuesday at the latest...
today is that tuesday... 15 working days after ordering, one week before i get paid... no credit card, so i ring them and after awhile i get put through to the courier company who start organising when & where it will be delivered, no sooner than thursday...
in the scheme of things this means i won't get it until friday, which is only a few days until i get paid...
i cannot begin to express how much this irritates me... i used to work on the phone and therefore i'm almost always careful to treat telephone customer service people with respect, but i have been rude to these lloydstsb people and the worst of it is that noone has apologised to me, the bank has assured me it's done it's bit, the courier company has told me it's not their fault...
