poet laureate

thursday was a big cycling day, finsbury park to london bridge, then onto barons court, then back to finsbury park, and i lost my back light on the journey,

somewhat tired by it all today,

about to go to bed but just to mention, i video'd the poet laureate reading a poem for trafalgar day, mainly because he teaches someone i know...

strangely enough just as i was waiting for him to get going iain sinclair was on the other side (bbc2 as opposed to bbc1) talking about the lea valley and the travesty of the olympic stadium that will be built over it... flicking backwards and forwards between the almost poetry and our mr sinclair, strobe effect, half sentences, our nations poet didn't really do it for me in the end, but to be fair i've only just heard of him, maybe he's a grower...

so therefore today is trafalgar day... friday i'm guessing, although they could have been talking about yesterday (thursday) - funny, just because it's an event i'm thinking it's friday, normally i'd be steadfastly thursday until i've slept...

oh my bed...

My friend Dusty (also a biker) thinks a back light is basically car-bait ("hey, what's that shiny thing?"), but I still feel safer with mine on!
