ok, so we ran out of laundry powder on sunday, it's my job in this huge house to get it in, don't normally let it run out... mad, mad, mad day yesterday so today i wake up knowing i have to do my laundry, but that i have to go out and get the laundry powder...
so as i have to go out in yesterday's ... anyway i say to myself that i'll have the shower when i get back from waitrose, as i leave the house, (sporting my new sunglasses ), i meet a plumber coming in to the house... i think nothing of it...
and when i get back in i'm very concious of the timetable of it by now.. in order to wash the clothes and dry them in time to get down to londonbridgework by 5ish i need to get it in right now...
then jump in the shower, hang out todays clothes in this lovely hot day once they're done...
but hang on...
didn't i see a plumber come in half an hour ago..?
so now i'm waiting, poised, for the water to be back on again...
