weather (including this week's improvisation)

i saw the flash of lightning this morning as i was preparing to go to work and i heard the long roll of thunder after...

moments later rain was noisily pelting my window...

i'll take the tube i told myself...

the first time in ages i've got public transport to work and it was a moment of weakness... but it gave me a chance to read on the train which was nice...

also walking along with an umbrella tapping the ground is a groovy thing...

so i get to work and there is news that a tornado has hit kensal rise... a tornado..?

i used to live in kensal rise...

strange times...

i'm about to cycle to londonbridgework for the christmas party, at which i will not be entering the david brent dancing competition and i will stand no chance of winning the flat screen TV... i really intended to learn the moves yesterday but one of these spells of lostness hit me and...

and it brings to mind last years christmas party that i did not attend for some reason...? i was upset about something and i have no idea what it was, somehow i think bo might have been involved but that's just a guess...

strange to remember the results of an upset but not the reason for it...

my rhodes/space echo video is currently uploading to googlevideo even though i have no indication that it won't look rubbish... (it turned out alright and is up there above this)

oh and i've been invited to perform at a socratic hall event, very modern... virtual... don't know how it will work but i'm digging the notion...
