lunar eclipse

when i was in hotel full of cops, we played at a festival that was celebrating a total solar eclipse....

me, B & J, J who was in the band and B who we lived with.... we were sat on a little rise somewhere in the festival and smoked, while, under a cloudy sky, we noticed a very slight dimming of the light...

that was our eclipse...

then last year at some point me & dinah were @ floopy & T's where they used to live near crouch end, the camera had only recently been bought (the one i borrow for the dawn project) and we were in their garden filming it... but before it happened a big old sky full of clouds came over and that was that, i think we did a zither instead...

so this brings us to tonight, i'm awake, it's 3:45 am, the moon will be just about to become visible again, taking a couple of hours to be full again...

and once more... clouds x

what are you gonna do?

x

in other news i'm trying to write something for M, whose band i've joined and who has some chance of getting signed...

it came from playing on the lovely virtual hammond organ that i have in this here computer...

and i want to be rocky, but it sounds very calm and laid back when i play it, now i'm straying from the chords i've got into another section and it's coming over all funky... JTQ almost...

oh... the challenges of writing something that i want to be something... rather than just letting it go where it wants to go...

hard life (not) x

We saw the lunar eclipse whilst having dinner on the last day of cycling in Cuba. The band suddenly stopped playing and looked at the sky, then all the customers looked at the sky.

Sorry you missed it. I could offer to send you a photo, but it would not be the same, would it?
